If you are a regular consumer of canned energy drinks, you’ve probably found that these drinks can provide an energy “buzz.” But once these effects wear off, you may notice that your energy levels quickly drop. And even worse, it’s not uncommon to end up more tired than you were before. You’ve just fallen victim to the “crash effect.” This feeling of weakness occurs when our energy levels drop below the “baseline”, which is a person’s energy level immediately before consuming an energy drink. And while excess caffeine and sugar boosts energy levels, these benefits are short-lived. You see, excess sugar and caffeine lead to rapid increases and decreases in levels of blood sugar (glucose). And soon after, the dreaded energy “crashes” can develop!
Blitz is formulated to avoid this crash effect by containing no sugar and having a relatively low amount of caffeine.
Market research has shown that Blitz Energizer provides more energy, for longer and with less crash than other products.

Caused a Crash

All participants in the clinical trial, including those who consumed
Blitz Energizer, experienced a spike in energy levels followed by
an eventual reduction in those levels some time after drink
ingestion. Blitz Energizer contains no sugar but the competing
drinks studied did. Only those consuming the competing drinks
containing sugar experienced a reduction in energy levels below
baseline (i.e., below the level present immediately before the
drink was consumed). Sugar in the range of 20mg or more per
serving can induce elevation in blood glucose levels. Elevated
blood glucose levels can, in turn, increase insulin production.
Insulin suppresses blood glucose levels and may produce a
“crash” effect, which is a reduction in energy levels below baseline.
